This is a stunning pair of two armed antique French brass candle wall sconces. They would certainly add flickering candlelit atmosphere to a château chic interior.

They are very substantial and sturdy with good weight, each one weighing over 1 kg. They have a gorgeous scrolled acanthus leaf design and have a left and right configuration.

The two arms branch out from the backplate and have swirling leaf detail. The candle cups sit on decorative bobeche.

There is a strap on the back of each sconce for hanging on a wall.

We have left the sconces as we found them. The brass has acquired a fabulous dark atmospheric patina with contrasting subtle old gold hints.

Each sconce measures  :- 31.5 cm (12.4 inches) high x 24.5 cm (9.6 inches) wide x approx 10 cm (4 inches) deep.
