This fabulous two arm antique French girandole / candelabrum would certainly add an authentic château chic finishing touch. It would look superb as a table centrepiece and would add flickering candlelit atmosphere to a bathroom or a boudoir.

The girandole sits on a round base and has a central column from which the arms branch to either side. Within the arms are 2 whorls of gorgeous pendalogue crystals each with a rose crystal button. The crystals are delicately held on wire tendrils and catch the candlelight beautifully.

The girandole is in sturdy antique condition. Some of the crystal bearing wires are a little bent and if one looks very carefully you can see that one of  them is missing. This is not obvious and does not detract in any way from the beauty of this lovely piece.

The gilding on the metal  has mellowed over the years and there is a little verdigris on one of the candle cups.

There is a hole in the base to take a wire should one wish to convert the girandole to electricity.

The girandole measures :- H 35.5 cm (14 inches) x  W 34 cm (13.1 inches). The base is 12 cm in diameter.
