B1697 - SOLD

This is a pretty antique French gesso on wood picture frame dating from the early 1900's.. It is oval in shape with 4 sections of rose and leaf decoration.

The back and glass have long gone but could easily be replaced. The frame is of good size and would be perfect for a family portrait.

The gilding has a lovely antique old gold hue. The frame is in good, sturdy condition. There is just a little distressing to the very inner edge (please see photos).

The frame measures :- 45 cm (17.75 inches) x 35.5 cm (14 inches).
