This is the most amazing antique French hand worked lace curtain dating from the 19th Century. It is very long and would be the perfect finishing touch to a château window.

At the bottom of the curtain are further lacework flowers and leaves and a beautiful frothy fringe. The top of the curtain is lightly ruched.
The lace is worked in a heavy pale cream cotton yarn and is almost like crochet. The flowers are defined by a gorgeous narrow overstitched cord.
The curtain is in very good antique condition.
The curtain measures :- 130 cm (4 ft 3 inches ) wide across the top & 140 cm ( 4 ft 7 inches) wide across the bottom. It is 345 cm (11 ft 3.75 inches) long including the fringe which is approx 22 cm ( 8.6 inches) long.
