This is an impressive pair of antique French curtain pole finials dating from the 1800's. They would certainly add a touch of grandeur to a curtain ensemble.

They are of excellent quality and are made in cast metal. They are substantial pieces each one weighing over 0.5 kg. They are in the Empire style with acanthus leaf detail and each have their own finial finishing touch.

The finials have the most amazing gilded finish. They have a gorgeous subtle rosy glow with golden highlights which catch the light beautifully.

Each finial has it's original screw.

Each finial measures:- 9 cm (3.5 inches) high not including the screw x approx 6.5 cm (2.6 inches) wide. The base plate is 5 cm (2 inches) in diameter.
