This is a sublime antique French printed linen curtain / drape dating from the early 1900's. It would be the perfect finishing touch to a vintage home.

The curtain is made in linen and has good weight and hangs beautifully. It has a gorgeous print of vertical floral bands, the widest of which has divine baskets of pink flowers connected by a flower garland tied in places with a blue ribbon - just lovely.

The colours are gorgeous shades of pink, and pale green and blue on a warm cream background.

The curtain is finished all round and has 2 pleats to the top. It is lined. There is a seam 37 cm (14.5 inches) in from the right hand side.

It is in good antique condition. There is just a little running of the pink colour to the left hand side and the bottom (please see photos). We have left the curtain as we found it. It has not been laundered but in our opinion it is ready to hang.

It measures :- 200 cm (6 ft 6.75 inches) long x 113 cm (3 ft 8.5 inches) wide across the bottom and 108 cm (3 ft 6.5 inches) across the top.

An exceptionally pretty piece of antique French textile to incorporate into an interiors project.  It is from a carefully selected collection of antique & vintage French textiles, curtains, curtain accessories and decorative pieces at 'La Belle Étoffe'!
