This stunning pair of two armed antique French brass candle wall sconces would certainly add flickering candlelit atmosphere to a château chic interior.

They are very substantial and sturdy with good weight, each one weighing nearly 1 kg.

They are in the Empire style. The backplate has swagged laurel leaf detail to the top and acanthus leaf detail to the bottom.

The two arms branch out from the backplate and also have acanthus leaf detail. The candle cups are decorative and sit on bobeche.

There is a strap on the back of each sconce for hanging on a wall.

The gilding on the brass gives off a lovely golden glow with a subtle antique patina.

Each sconce measures  :- 32.5 cm (12.75 inches) high x 23 cm (9.1 inches) wide x approx 13 cm (5.1 inches) deep.
