This is a superb set of 5 antique French copper and brass kitchen utensils and a hanging rail. The utensils are of excellent quality and would be perfectly at home in a professional cuisine.

The handles of the utensils are made of brass and the working areas and the rivets are made of copper. The utensils are of good weight and are lovely to handle. There is a slotted skimmer, a ladle, a fork, a casserole spoon and a spatula.

The utensils are in good antique condition. We have left them as we found them. They had been polished but some blemishes remain which would need further polishing to remove.

It should be noted that the hanging rail is not original to the set. It is made of a plated metal. The plating has now largely worn off to leave a dull antique finish.

The hanging rail has 2 holes for fixing it to a wall.

Hanging rail - 53 cm (20.8 inches) wide.

Skimmer - 37 cm (14.5 inches) long x 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) wide.

Ladle - 37 cm (14.5 inches) long x 10 cm (4 inches) wide.

Fork - 38 cm (15 inches) long x 4.5 cm (1.75 inches) wide.

Casserole Spoon - 36.5 cm (14.3 inches) long x 6.5 cm (2.6 inches) wide.

Spatula - 38.5 cm (15.2 inches) long x 8 cm (3.2 inches) wide.

This is a fabulous set of utensils for serious use or to hang as a decorative piece in a vintage cuisine. Another superb antique French brocante find from La Belle Étoffe.
