B1925 - SOLD

This is a spectacular pair of antique French finials dating from the 1800's. They would look stunning on a curtain pole and would make an impressive pair of stair newel finials (boules d'escalier).

They are of excellent quality and are carved in mahogany. Each finial has it's own pineapple finial to the top and beautiful draped swags to the bottom.

Each finial is fitted with a dowel.

The finials are in good antique condition with no worm, just a few spots to the varnish.

Each finial measures:- 13 cm (5.1 inches) high not including the dowel x approx 9 cm (3.5 inches) wide. The base plate is 5.5 cm (2.1 inches) in diameter.

A superb pair of finials to add a château chic finishing touch and another divine antique French find from La Belle Étoffe!
