This is a stunning antique French curtain pelmet. It is made in a divine silk damask with a gorgeous Napoleon III laurel wreath design.

The laurel wreaths are in a dark old gold which look superb against the claret background.

The bottom of the pelmet is scalloped and trimmed with a golden passementerie.

The pelmet is stiffened and lined. There are hooks on the back for hanging.

It is in good antique condition while still retaining that 'always been there' look.

The pelmet measures :- 215 cm (7 ft 0.6 inches)  wide x 25 cm (9.8 inches) high.

This is a classic antique pelmet to add a stylish finishing touch to a room. It is from a carefully selected collection of divine antique French textiles & decorative pieces at 'La Belle Étoffe!
