B2034 - Delightfully Pretty Antique French Art Nouveau Brass Candlestick, Circa 1900

This is a delightfully pretty antique French brass candlestick in the Art Nouveau style dating around 1900. It would be perfect for a table centrepiece or a special niche.

The shape of the candlestick is formed by the leaves and stems of a plant which burgeon up from the base and culminate in 3 flowers which form the candle cups. A further flower is nestled within the leaves to take another candle. The three sturdy feet are formed by the base of the leaves.

The brass has dulled over the years to a lovely old gold hue.

The candlestick measures :- 20 cm (7.87 inches) high x 15.5 cm (6.1 inches) wide.
