B2038 - Beautiful Double Arm Antique Italian Painted Toleware Flower Candle Wall Sconce

This is the most beautiful double arm antique Italian painted toleware candle wall sconce dating from the early 1900's. It is exquisitely pretty. Imagine how atmospheric it would look lit with candles in a special niche.

The sconce has a 'Tree of Life' design with a weaving branch burgeoning with a plethora of flowers and leaves. The candles are held in two petalled cups.

The flowers are painted in sublime shades of pink and turquoise. The paint has fabulously patinated and worn to perfection.

There is a loop on the back of the sconce for hanging on a wall.

The sconce measures :- 35 cm (13.75 inches) high x 14 cm (5.5 inches) wide x 10 cm (4 inches) deep.
