This is a divine antique French gesso on wood gilded picture frame. It holds a charming sepia photo of a baby. The photo is signed and dated 1933.

The frame is oval in shape and has a beautiful bow crest with a rose and leaves to each side.

The glass is intact and the frame has a hard back covered in brown paper.

The gilding on the gesso has a lovely antique hue. 

The frame has two metal loops on the back for hanging purposes.

The frame is sturdy and in good antique condition.

It measures :- 49 cm (19.3 inches) high x 34 cm (13.4 inches) wide.
The aperture is :- 37.5 cm (14.75 inches) high x 27.5 cm (10.8 inches) wide.
