B2053 - Beautiful Antique French Bronze Religious Travel Altar, Virgin Mary & Baby Jesus

This is a beautiful antique French religious travel altar dating from the 1800's. It is cast in bronzed metal and is very decorative and architectural. It would be perfect for a special niche.

The altar has a central spire with a cross and to either side of this is a steeple. There is further architectural detail to the base. To the centre of the altar are The Virgin Mary and Jesus in gilded splendour.

On the back of the altar is a loop for hanging purposes.

The altar measures :- 17.4 cm (6.8 inches) high x 5.8 cm (2.2 inches) wide.

This is a fabulous religious piece to display and use and another divine antique French brocante find from La Belle Étoffe!
