This is a delightful little antique French Art Nouveau plaster bust dating from about 1900. It would look superb, perhaps on a mantelpiece or on a sidetable.

The subject is a beautiful girl. She has dreamy eyes and full pink lips. Her hair is caught in a chignon at the back and falls around her face and down onto her bare shoulders. It is adorned with a daisy.

She sits on a fabulous base in atmospheric shades and has the title 'CHANCE'. She wears a green gown and has a daisy corsage at her décollotage.

We have left the bust as we found her. She is in good antique condition with just a little minor distressing to the paint (please see photos).

She measures :- 26 cm (10.2 inches) high x 15.5 cm (6.1 inches) wide x 9 cm (3.5 inches) deep.

This is a gorgeous bust to add an authentic antique French finishing touch and another divine brocante find from La Belle Étoffe!
