B2077 - Divine Set 7 Antique French Gilded Acanthus Leaf Chateau Curtain Rings, 19th Century

This is a divine set of 7 antique French gilded metal curtain rings dating from the 1800's.

They have a gorgeous acanthus leaf embellishment which will sweep down over the top of the curtain when hung on a pole. The effect will be stunning and very chic.

These rings were originally sewn directly onto the curtain but a wire loop could be added to each ring in order to take a modern curtain hook. There are 2 small holes at the end of each acanthus leaf  to enable the embellishment to also be sewn onto the curtain.

The rings are all good and strong with no dents. The gilding has mellowed and acquired an antique patina.

Each ring including the acanthus leaf embellishment measures 9.75 cm (3.8 inches) high x 3.75 cm (1.4 inches) wide.

The inside of the curtain ring itself measures 5.5 cm (2.25 inches) diameter.
