This is a superb set of 18 antique French gilded metal curtain rings dating from the 1800's.

They have a gorgeous acanthus and laurel leaf embellishment which will sweep down over the top of the curtain when hung on a pole. The effect will be stunning and very chic.

These rings were originally sewn directly onto the curtain but a wire loop could be added to each ring in order to take a modern curtain hook.

The rings are all good and strong with no dents. The gilding has mellowed a little with the passage of time but still catches the light beautifully.

Each ring including the acanthus leaf embellishment measures approx. 10 cm (3.9 inches) high x 2.75 cm (1 inch) wide.

The inside of the curtain ring itself measures 5.5 cm (2.25 inches) diameter.
