This is a set of 3 beautiful antique Chinese silk wall hangings. They are beautifully embroidered and would make a stunning addition to an interior.

Two of the wall hangings are embroidered with cute birds and flowers, the third has a simple bamboo design.

The embroidery is worked in soft neutrals which look gorgeous against the blue silk background.

Each wall hanging is lined with an orange cotton textile. The edges of the hangings are machine sewn, the embroidery is hand worked.

The wall hangings are in good antique condition. Each one has a few very minor marks (please see photos) which do not draw the eye. There is a tiny area of wear on the left hand edge of one of the bird panels. The silk has faded with the passage of time. The true colour can be seen at the top of each panel where previous fittings were clipped.

Each panel measures :- 92 cm (36.25 inches) high x 38.5 cm (15.2 inches) wide.

This is a truly beautiful set of antique silk embroidered panels. It is from a carefully selected collection of antique textiles & decorative pieces at 'La Belle Étoffe'.

N.B. The clips we have used to hang the panels are not included.
