This is a gorgeous pair of antique French linen tea towels in excellent condition.

They have been beautifully embroidered with the initials C V and would have formed part of a bride's dowry.

They have jolly red parallel red lines to both edges and are crisp and fresh and ready to use.

The linen is a lovely shade of ecru and is thick and strong and suitable for upholstery.

Each tea towel has a loop for hanging.

Dimensions :-  L 84 cm (33 inches) X W 64 cm (25 inches)
