This is a divine and charming antique French wax bust dating from the early 1900's.

The subject is a pretty young mademoiselle. She has beautiful hair styled in ringlets and held back with a bandana. She has sweet child like features with an adorable air of innocence.

Her hair and features are highlighted in a lovely shade of sepia which looks superb against the ivory of her skin.

She has survived the years in wonderful condition and sits upon an ebonised plinth.

The bust, together with it's plinth measures 25 cm (9.75 inches) high x 23 cm (9 inches) wide x 12.5 cm (5 inches) deep.

This gorgeous bust would enhance any period display.

It can be seen in our shop in Frome, Somerset.
