B415 - SOLD

This is a superb antique French cake mould or 'Bundt' dating from about 1900.

It is made from earthenware and can be used for baking cakes or just displayed for it's rustic vintage charm.

The inside of the mould is glazed and is a gorgeous terracotta colour. The outside of the mould is unglazed and the contrast adds to the character of this lovely old mould.

The mould is a substantial weighty piece. It is in useable condition. The rim has some very minor distressing and there is some minor crazing to the glaze but there are no cracks.

The mould measures 12 cm (4.75 inches) high x 27 cm (10.5 inches) diameter to the edge of the rim.

This is a lovely old piece of antique French kitchenalia to collect and display or to use in a working kitchen.
