B438 - SOLD

This is a superb antique French pewter bon bon dish dating from the late 1800's, early 1900's.

It is very decorative and would make a fabulous addition to an after dinner table. It would also be perfect for a few trinkets in a château chic boudoir.

The dish stands on 4 acanthus leaf scrolled feet. The attractive handles and the decoration on both sides are also of a scrolled acanthus leaf  design.

The base of the dish bears the PARIS mark. The dish is a substantial little piece and is lovely to handle.

The pewter has a fabulous dark grey pearlescent hue and the acanthus leaf decoration catches the light beautifully.

It measures 18 cm (7 inches) wide x 8 cm (3 inches) deep x 7 cm (2.75 inches) high.

A lovely bon bon dish to add a château chic finishing touch and another divine antique French find from La Belle Étoffe!

It can be seen in our shop in Frome, Somerset.
