B439 - SOLD

This is a divine antique French ex voto dating from the early 1900's. It would have been placed in a church to give thanks to a saint. It is extremely decorative and would be a fabulous addition to any period French display or as a romantic token to a loved one.

It is cast in fabulous detail and is very symbolic. The three dimensional intertwined hearts are crested with urns of fire. Around each heart is a scrolled, lace like edge and at the tip of each is a tiny winged angel. 

There is a loop at the top for hanging by a ribbon or chain.

The ex voto measures :- 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) high x 13.5 cm (5.25 inches) wide.

An interesting and decorative authentic period piece for any château chic display or to keep and treasure as part of a collection.
