This is a superb pair of antique French ormolu light pulls dating from the 1800's.

They are in the shape of a plumptious tassel with further cord and tassel decoration to the sides.

The gilding on the ormolu has mellowed with the passage of time to a lovely old gold highlighted with areas of verdigris. This fabulous effect could not be replicated and adds to their wonderful air of faded grandeur.

The casting of the ormolu is good quality and the pulls have good weight and size.

Each pull measures 6 cm (2.3 inches) high x 3.25 cm (1.25 inches) wide.

A divine pair of light pulls to add that special château chic finishing touch.
