This is a divine pair of antique French ormolu curtain tie backs dating from about 1880.

They are in the Rococo style and have a gorgeous swirling acanthus leaf design to both the back plate and the fascia of the hook.

The gilding has a particularly fabulous antique hue and would compliment curtains in the most sumptuous of fabrics.

Each tie back has a strap on the reverse of the back plate and can be fixed to the wall by hanging it on a hook. 

Each tie back measures :- H 14.5 cm (5.75 inches) x W 5.5 cm (2.25 inches) x D 12.5 cm (5 inches).

This is a gorgeous pair of tie backs to add a château chic finishing touch and another divine antique French find from La Belle Étoffe!
