This is a gorgeous antique French pewter planter / jardinière dating from the 1800's.

It is of a size perfect to take a couple of cyclamen and would sit beautifully on a window ledge.

It is highly decorative and is cast in wonderful detail. It sits on 4 scrolled feet and to either side is a crest. At the centre of the crest is a Fleur de Lys and below this is a fabulous swagged fruit and leaf garland.

The jardinière has a lift out tray with two little handles. The tray has three drainage holes and there is one small hole to the side.

The pewter is a fabulous rich dark grey with silvery highlights.

The jardinière is in good condition and is a substantial piece.

It measures :- H 13 cm (5 inches) x W 27 cm (10.5 inches) x D 18.5 cm (7.25 inches).
