This is a superb vintage French metal advertising sign dated 1947.

It is advertising a citrus cordial called 'Brasserie D'Aubel' which comes in lemon and orange flavours.

The design is a central large glass into which tumble slices of orange and lemon with jolly smiling faces. Beneath is the outline of the world with tiny trees and houses and perhaps the theme of the advert is that one will feel on top of the world if one has a Brasserie D'Aubel drink!

The colours and design of the sign are very Retro and it would make an extremely decorative and atmospheric piece to hang on a wall, perhaps in a kitchen or in a bar.

The sign is in good condition with some patination to the paint which does not detract but adds character to this wonderful old piece.

We have added a length of chain for hanging purposes which we will leave on it.

The sign measures :- W 42.5 cm (16.75 inches) x H 21 cm (8.25 inches).
