This is a divine antique French print of a painting by the artist Reno and dates from about 1920.

It features two sweet little children crossing a railway line. They are oblivious to the danger of an approaching train but luckily for them their beautiful guardian angel is there to protect them.

The angel hovers over the children on her gorgeous feathered wings. She has a golden star above her head and her gowns swirl around her.

The little children look very happy. They are bare foot and simply dressed. The little girl carries a basket filled with gorgeous full blown pink roses and the boy carries a sheaf of wheat.

All of this is depicted in glorious colour and detail and the print has an almost golden aura about it.

It measures :- H 50 cm (19.75 inches) x W 39 cm (19.25 inches).
