This is a magnificent pair of antique French coat hooks to add a touch of château grandeur to a door or rack.

They are of excellent quality and are cast in brass in the shape of  a fabulous roaring lion's head. The lion's head is very three dimensional and the detail to the casting is wonderful.

The hooks are weighty pieces and would take a very heavy coat.

The brass has a lovely antique hue and there are areas of verdigris which would polish off if required.

Each hook measures :- H 14 cm (5.5 inches) x W 7 cm (2.75 inches) x D 5.5 cm (2.25 inches).
