B603 - Jolly Set Antique French Wooden Skittles & Balls With Distressed PaintThis is a very jolly complete set of antique French wooden skittles and balls. They are very decorative and would make a marvellous addition to a nostalgic display.
The 9 skittles are painted in the bright primary colours of red, green or blue on a cream background. Years of use has caused the paint to distress to perfection which is an effect that could not be replicated. There are three balls with the set - two green and one yellow and these too are distressed. The skittles and balls have survived the years well. They are intact and sturdy but there is a little cracking to the wood. Each skittle is 24.5 cm (9.5 inches) high x 3.75 cm (1.5 inches) in diameter. The balls are approx 7 cm (2.75 inches) in diameter. A charming set of skittles to add an authentic touch to a vintage display and another jolly antique French find from La Belle Étoffe!
