This is a fabulous pair of antique French cast iron garden urns dating from the 1800's.

They are very versatile as they are of a size that could be used inside or out. They are very architectural and would look stunning filled with flowers on a console table perhaps in a hall or conservatory. Or they could be planted with geraniums and seated either side of a front door.

They are made in cast iron in the classic urn shape on a pedestal. The cast iron has patinated to perfection over the years to a mottled reddy brown hue.

The urns are in excellent condition with no repairs or cracks. They are very substantial, each one weighing over 3 kg.

Each urn measures :- 25 cm (9.75 inches) high x 20 cm (8 inches) across the top x 10 cm ( 4 inches) across the bottom.

A delightful pair of urns to add a château chic finishing touch and another superb antique French architectural find from La Belle Étoffe!
