This is a divine set of 4 antique French ormolu curtain tie / hold backs  dating from about 1880.

They are of a size large enough to accomodate substantial château curtains and would be perfect for a dual aspect room where two pairs are needed.

They are hinged so they hang freely from the wall and allow drapes to be secured back in a natural and elegant manner.

The front of the hook has a gorgeous ring of roses tied with a bow with trailing ribbon tails. The back plate continues the floral theme with a daisy and buds.

The tie backs have a strap on the back of the top plate and can be fixed to the wall by hanging them on a hook, or there is a hole for taking a screw.

The gilding on the tie backs has a lovely old gold hue.

Dimensions :- H 33 cm (13 inches) x W 5 cm (2 inches) x D 13 cm (5 inches).

This is a fabulous set of curtain tie backs to add a château chic finishing touch and another divine antique French find from La Belle Ètoffe.
