This is a superb set of 8 antique French brass curtain tie backs in the Rococo style and dating from about 1880.

They are good quality with excellent detail and definition to the casting. Each pair has a left and right configuration.

The back plate has a swirling acanthus leaf  design and this continues in to the fascia of the hook. The brass has a lovely old gold hue.

The tie backs have a strap on the back of the top plate and can be fixed by hanging them on a hook. They also have a hole for screwing them to a wall.

They measure :- H 17.5 cm (7 inches) x W 3 cm (1.25 inches) x D 9 cm (3.5 inches).

This is a gorgeous set of tie backs to add a château chic finishing touch and another divine antique French find from La Belle Étoffe!
