B725 - SOLD

This is a sweet antique French petite cupboard in the Art Deco style and dating around 1920/1930. It is a very decorative piece and would also be very useful. It would be perfect in a kitchen for a few herbs and spices or perhaps in a hall for keys.

It is made of box wood and is in the shape of a little buffet / sideboard. There are 3 compartments each with a door. The two outer compartments are taller and have a shelf, the central compartment is lower and has a shelf above.

To the back of the cupboard and on the two outer doors is a charming grape and vine stencil. The grapes are a rich dark red and the vine and it's leaves have a gorgeous forest green hue.

The cupboard has a lovely timeworn quality but is all good and sturdy. It sits on 4 wooden feet but could be hung on a wall if required.

It measures :- 31.5 cm (12.5 inches) high x 33 cm (13 inches) wide x 9 cm (3.5 inches) deep.
