This is a beautiful antique French spelter bust of a Neoclassical lady on a plinth and dates from the 1800's. She is a very architectural piece and would add an authentic château chic touch to an interior.

She is of good quality and is cast in wonderful detail. She has gorgeous full wavy hair caught in a chignon and plait at the back. Her vestments drape beautifully around her shoulders and bosom, and fall elegantly down her back.

The bust has a gorgeous bronze finish. This has mellowed a little over the years to give us this wonderfully atmospheric piece.

She measures  approx. :- 22.5 cm (8.75 inches) high x 13 cm (5 inches) wide x 13 cm (5 inches) deep.
