This is a sweet petite antique French vanity mirror dating from the 1800's. It would be perfect for a boudoir but it also folds flat to slip into a bag or case.
It is made of bronze and has a lovely bow crest from which flower garlands fall to either side. At the base is a disc within which a young Pan plays his pipes, his lovely feathered wings outstretched.
On the back of the mirror is a sturdy back rest. The mirror and it's glass are in good condition. The bronze has mellowed over the years but would polish up if required.
It measures :- 20.5 cm (8 inches) high x 8 cm (3 inches) wide.
A lovely little mirror to use and enjoy and another divine antique French brocante find from La Belle Étoffe.
