This is a fantastic antique French copper kitchen rack and 5 utensils set. It is not only wondefully decorative but it is of superb quality and would be perfectly at home in a professional cuisine.

It is rare to find a set such as this intact.

The rack has a handsome cockeral design stamped into the back. It has a brass rail upon which the utensils hang and a tray at the base to catch the drips.

There are 5 utensils :- a slotted skimmer, a ladle, a casserole spoon, a fish slice and a meat fork. The handles are made of brass and the working areas and the rivets are made of copper. They are of good weight and are lovely to handle.

The rack has one or two minor dents but the utensils are in particularly good condition. We have polished each piece. A little patina remains and they would polish further if required.

There are two holes on the rack for hanging on a wall.

Dimensions :-

Rack - 51 cm (20 inches) high x 37 cm (14.5 inches) wide x 9.5 cm (3.75 inches) deep.

Skimmer - 37.5 cm (14.75 inches) long x 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) wide.

Ladle - 36 cm (14 inches) long x 10 cm (4 inches) wide.

Fork - 40 cm (15.75 inches) long x 3.5 cm (1.5 inches) wide.

Spoon - 38.5 cm (15.25 inches) long x 6 cm (2.3 inches) wide.

Slice - 40 cm (15.75 inches) long x 7.5 cm (3 inches) wide.

This is a fabulous set of utensils for serious use or to hang as a decorative piece in a vintage cuisine.
