This is a sublime pair of antique French linen curtains dating from the early 1900's.

The linen has the palest green background with a gorgeous blue and pink spriggy floral design.

The curtains are lined with a fine linen in a stunning shade of yellow. On each curtain are sewn 6 brass curtain rings.

The curtains have been laundered and are so crisp and fresh they feel like new and it is only on closer inspection their antique character and charm emerges.

Much of the sewing has been done by hand. The rings seem to have been repositioned at some stage during their life and a little repair work to the fabric has taken place there. There is a little wear in places on the edges of the curtains (see pics) but this is minor and the curtains are suitable for use for years to come.

Each curtain measures :- 208 cm (6 ft 10 inches) long x 76 cm (2 ft 6 inches) wide.
