These are two gorgeous antique Chinoiserie keepsake boxes dating from the 1920's. They would be perfect for keepsakes and treasured letters and would look divine on a bureau.

The larger box has a beautiful pheasant and lotus blossom design to the lid. The detail is wonderful - see the tiny butterflies fluttering above.

The smaller box has delightful Chinese fishing scenes to the lid and sides.

Both boxes close with a pleasing snap and open by pushing a tiny button which releases the catch.

They are in good sturdy condition with the merest distressing from the passage of time.

The larger box measures :- 27.5 cm (10.75 inches) wide x 18 cm (7 inches) deep x 8 cm (3 inches) high.
The smaller box measures :- 15 cm (6 inches) wide x 11 cm (4.3 inches) deep x 5.75 cm (2.3 inches) high.
