B817 - SOLD

This is a fabulous pair of antique French brass church pricket candlesticks dating from the 19th Century. They would have stood on the church altar but would now make a very stylish addition to a château chic interior.

The candlesticks are of Gothic style. They stand on a decorative triangular base and have a crown shaped bobeche. They are very substantial and sturdy.

The brass has mellowed to a lovely antique hue but it would polish to a shiny finish if required.

Each candlestick measures :- H 42 cm (16.5 inches) to the top of the spike x 11 cm (4.3 inches) along one of the sides of the base.

Whether placed on a simple country buffet or a grand enfilade these gorgeous candlesticks will look stunning.
