This is a fabulous pair of antique French cast iron florist's urns dating from the 1800's. They are very architectural and would look stunning filled with flowers on a console table perhaps in a hall or conservatory.

They are made in cast iron and are fluted in shape with a pedestal base. There is an ivy design to the front and back. The original silver paint on the cast iron has mellowed and patinated over the years to wonderful effect.

The urns are in excellent condition with no repairs or cracks. They are very substantial, each one weighing nearly 1 kg.

Each urn measures :- 20.5 cm (8 inches) high x 10 cm (4 inches) across the top x 10 cm ( 4 inches) across the bottom.

A delightful pair of  urns to add a château chic finishing touch and another superb antique French architectural find from La Belle Étoffe!
