This beautiful pair of antique French ormolu mounts would originally have come from a bed or an armoire and date from the 19th Century. They would look superb just hung on a wall or could be used in restoration projects.

They have a gorgeous bow and ribbon tail crest from which hangs an exquisite basket of roses. The roses are entwined around the ribbon drop and burgeon abundantly from the basket.

The mounts are of excellent quality. Fabulous detail to the casting gives the bow and roses their wonderful three dimensional quality.

The gilding on the ormolu has mellowed to a lovely antique hue.

Each mount has 3 holes for fixing and measures 28 cm (11 inches) high x 12 cm (4.75 inches) wide.
