This is an exquisite antique French curtain / panel dating from the early 1900's. The design and colours of the textile are a feast for the eyes.

The textile is a soft cotton crepe which handles and drapes beautifully. It has the most sublime roses and bows design. The background colour is an exquisite rose pink. The flowers and bows in the vignettes are in vibrant shades of red, yellow and turquoise which look stunning against the pink background.

The curtain has a deep pink lining and a header tape with hooks. It is clean and fresh and in excellent antique condition. There is some fading to one edge of the curtain and the lining but this only adds character to this gorgeous old textile.

The curtain measures:- 119 cm (3 ft 11 inches) long x 115 cm (3 ft 9 inches) wide.

This is a  beautiful curtain to add a truly authentic finishing touch to a vintage home and another divine period French textile find from La Belle Étoffe.
