This is a fabulous pair of vintage French curtains oozing 1950's glamour. They are long and full and would be superb for a vintage boudoir.

They are made from an excellent quality cotton fabric which is very tactile and falls in soft swathes. The design is absolutely stunning. Against a background of saffron yellow are beautiful bouquets of flowers, including sweet williams, convolvulus, chrysanthemums and roses all in vibrant shades of red, yellow, pink & blue. The effect is breathtaking.

On the back of the curtains, where the fabric is joined the following information can be seen on the selvedges :- ROMANEX DE BOUSSAC, IMPRESSION D'ART, 'Cora'

The top of each curtain has a ruched vintage header tape and there is a large hem at the bottom.

There is some fading to the outer edges of the curtains but otherwise they are in excellent condition.

Each curtain measures :- 233 cm (7 ft 8 inches) long x 180 cm (5 ft 11 inches) wide at the bottom and 135 cm (4 ft 5 inches) along the top.
