This is a sublime antique French religious wax bust of  the infant Jesus dating from the late 1800's, early 1900's.  It is an utterly charming piece and would make a stunning addition to any vintage display.

The infant is beautiful. He has chubby cheeks and gorgeous curly hair around which is his halo. His hands are held in prayer.

The wax has a sepia hue adding even more atmosphere to this lovely piece.

The bust has an integral wax base. The bust is in good antique condition with just a little chipping to the paint on the base. There is a signature on the back.

He measures :- H 15.5 cm cm (6 inches) x W 12 cm (4.75 inches) x D 7.5 cm (3 inches).

A stunning and interesting religious piece to add an architectural feature to a display and another divine antique French find from La Belle Étoffe!
