This is a superb antique French brass picture / photo frame dating from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. The frame is larger than most we find of this type.  It currently holds a gorgeous print of a romantic 18th Century scene but it could be replaced with a photo if required.

The frame has decorative sides with a scroll design. There is an exquisite flower garland crest with a crossed torch and quiver. The back is a brass plate which slides out to change the photo. There is a ring for hanging the frame on a wall.

The glass is clear and is in good condition. The brass is shiny with an antique hue.

The frame measures 30.5 cm (12 inches) high x 21.5 cm (8.5 inches) wide.
