This is a sweet little antique French picture frame dating from the late 1800's, early 1900's. It holds a charming photo of a mother and child but this could be changed if required.

The frame would make the perfect château chic finishing touch, perhaps grouped with others on a side table.

The frame has a gorgeous ormolu bow and ribbon tail crest. Beneath this is an intricate arched design with a central round display area with glass.

On the back is a sturdy wire stand.

The gilding on the ormolu has mellowed over the years to timeworn perfection.

The frame measures 11 cm (4.25 inches) high x 7 cm (2.75 inches) wide.
