B996a - SOLD

This is a beautiful pair of long vintage French glazed cotton curtains / drapes. We also have another other pair, B996b in the same textile and size. Please see our other listings.

They are made in a high quality glazed cotton with the most exquisite convolvulus and wild roses design. The background colour is a light cream. The convolvulous leaves and flowers entwine themselves around the full blown wild roses. A beautiful butterfly completes the wonderful design.

The colours are absolutely gorgeous. The flowers are in shades of pink & mauve which look beautiful with the soft greens and teals of the foliage.

The curtains are lined and have hooks sewn to the pinch pleats at the top.

The textile is very crisp and fresh. The curtains are in excellent vintage condition.  If one looks very, very carefully the odd very minor mark can be seen but absolutely nothing to draw the eye.

Each curtain measures :- 238 cm (7 ft 9.5 inches) long x 130 cm (4 ft 3 inches) wide at the bottom and 88 cm (2 ft 11 inches) across the pleated  top.
