A fabulous antique French single daybed made from solid oak.

This is a sustantial good quality piece of furniture.

The oak has wonderful colour and graining and there is exquisite flower carving and scroll work to the front panels.

The back of the bed is plain, as one would expect, as this would originally have been positioned against a wall.

The daybed comes with a slatted base and will easily take customer's own single (Standard 3') mattress.

The daybed completely dismantles for transportation and re-positioning.

This daybed would be great for a snug or spare room as it can double up as a bed or sofa.
