This is a rather lovely vintage French leather club chair of a compact size ideal for a snug or study.

The chair is of classic shape with a 'Chapeau de Gendarme'  back.

The leather is original to the chair and is very thick and glossy in rich mid brown tones.

The leather is in excellent condition with just one repair to the bottom of the front panel.

There are some marks which only serve to add character to this lovely chair.

The lift out leather cushion is foam filled and is also original to the chair.

It too is in good condition with just a little wear to the corners of the front panel.

The springs of the chair have been checked and are in good order.

The chair is sturdy and offers firm supportive seating.
